Bailey - Spain

Biography: Ann started her walk of faith at age 7. From there it's been a walk of faith through the college years, into missions through a nontraditional approach, where after the first years as field bookkeeper she began 16 years of discipleship ministries with TEAM JOSHUA, followed

by five years at a youth center in Nabire, and now teaching part time in the Youth Division of a Bible College while working in discipleship ministries among youth in Samarinda. Her life commitment is

winning youth to the Kingdom wherever God wants her to be.

Current work/status: Ann is a full-time missionary, currently living in Samarinda, East Kalimantan in Indonesia.

Personal prayer requests: Praise the Lord for His marvelous provision of a new home after three years of leaking roofs and floods. Pray that my new home will be a place of dynamic ministry. Praise the Lord for a return to better health for three dear family members who had been seriously ill. Praise

the Lord for His watchful care over travel, work and health.  Pray for a continual renewing in the Holy Spirit and a constant awareness of God’s voice.

Ministry prayer requests: Praise the Lord for His undertaking in a very difficult situation at the STTT. Pray for vision and encouragement for the youth division which has just gone through major personnel changes. Pray for students who are disappointed in the departure of beloved mentors. Pray for a true work of the Holy Spirit among Professors. Pray for RAYS, a group dedicating themselves to Reach All the Youth in Samarinda for Jesus. Pray for the discipleship and outreach ministries. Pray for the TEAM JOSHUA as they continue to be used of God in Papua.

MOST RECENT PRAISE & PRAYER FROM ANN!

Praise the Lord with us that:

... several Godly key leaders in Papua are still loyal to the GKII church and are working to bring truth to remote areas

... Barry and Patty Jordan, missionaries in Sentani, have been given wonderful opportunities to speak into the church split situation there

... Godly men and women in the national church still want to see righteousness prevail

... the class on Models of Youth Ministry at STTT has been completed for this semester

... STTT gave permission to open a class on Basic Youth Ministries to local churches so that additional students could attend and 17 enrolled for the class

... the Basic Youth Ministries class was taught every evening for two weeks, and was received with great enthusiasm. PTL for energy and health for teaching and safety in travel

... life in my Samarinda home is becoming more and more possible as I adapt to changes and differences from my previous living setting

Please pray with us that:

... God will pour special anointing upon Barry and Patty Jordan as opportunities continue to be given to minister in Papua. They are asking that the Lord use their ministry to spark revival among the churches

... God will bless and use Rev John Gobai and his team of Papua pastors who are visiting remote areas of Papua to disseminate truth as they visit the many isolated areas of G.K.I.I.

... those who led the break away faction in Papua will recognize their folly and seek restoration

... the national church properties taken by the break away faction will be returned peacefully and honorably

... the forthcoming Christmas celebration of the R.A.Y.S. ministry in Samarinda where they will be inviting a well known artist to perform will be a clear call to unsaved youth to come to Jesus

... church leadership in East Kalimantan which has been burdened with heavy issues in recent months will know God’s peace and unity

... the STTT school where I teach, which has again walked through more personnel changes. Pray that the men in leadership of the school will lead the school to glorify God and the students will be God-honoring in their activities

... several of the STTT students, who, because of their expertise in athletics have been given outstanding opportunities to compete, as well as earn money for their schooling, will be shinning lights in the athletic world

... the vision of the national youth program which is planning a large national jamboree in 2007 will continue to develop according to God's will

... relationships in my new community will be established carefully and honestly. God has recently granted insight and wisdom in facing a couple attempted scams towards "the new foreigner"

... we will all know the watch care protection of the Lord in travel by car, plane and boat. Weekly we witness incidents that could include us, but for God's grace.

... The on going TEAM JOSHUA discipleship ministries in Papua

... God will grant divine anointing as I minister to several groups at their Christmas programs, including STTT, a Samarinda private school, and several church functions.

... God will grant time and inspiration for a projected tour ministry in Washington State from January 14- February 5, 2007
